Job description
This recognisable CBD-based Not-for-Profit organisation is continuously evolving and striving to be a leader in its field in the way they harvest the power of technology. As such, as they become more data-driven, IT applications have become a core aspect of their digital transformation program. We are searching for a Business Analyst for a role focused on delivering our client's multifaceted IT strategy.
Key Skills / Responsibilities:

Requirements elicitation and analysis: work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to capture requirements and business rules.

Utilisation of various methods such as interviews, requirements workshops and surveys for gathering requirements.

Documentation: develop requirement specifications, business cases, functional specifications, process models and state transition models.

Stakeholder liaison: Act as the internal representative and subject matter expert for stakeholder requirements

Reporting: ensure relevant information is communicated to the Program Manager.

Perform gap analysis to compare solutions against stakeholder requirement

Create and maintain User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases, checklists and documentation.

Work with a team of PM’s and BA’s on supplementary activities around supporting the delivery of IT application projects.
Requirements:
-
5+ years’ Business Analyst experience in the business analysis life cycle.

Experience in the NFP Sector is ideal to understand the complex network of stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Project Management / Business Analysis Qualifications are an advantage (e.g. BaBOK).

Demonstrated experience process mapping and business and functional requirements documentation

Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall Project Management and Software Development Methodologies.

The ability to translate abstract information into high quality business requirements

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and workshop/training facilitation skills.

Experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office.
