Job description

This recognisable Melbourne CBD-based Not-for-Profit organisation is continuously evolving and striving to be a leader in its field in the way they harvest the power of technology.  As such, as they become more data-driven, IT applications have become a core aspect of their digital transformation programme.  We are searching for an experienced Project Manager who has led the end-to-end implementations of both HR and Finance Systems.    

 

Key Skills / Responsibilities: 

  • Documentation and development of a business case. 

  • Assist with decision making process regarding Vendor selection.   

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.  

  • Understand and conceptualise the end-client's use for a new Finance/HR system and why they are wanting to implement a new system.   

  • Liaise with SME’s, particularly within HR and Finance teams.   

  • Open channels of communication with senior stakeholders within the organisation for progress reports.   

  • Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for execution of projects.   

  • Ensure project is delivered on time, within scope and to budget.  

  • Mitigate project risks.   

 

Requirements: 

  • In depth end-to-end experience delivering project implementations across both Finance and HR technology projects.  

  • Knowledge of available HR and Finance solutions in the market (e.g. SAP and Oracle products). 

  • Project Management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PmBOK, PMP). 

  • Delivery focused. 

  • Understanding of both HR and Finance functionality. 

  • Experience leading a small projects team.   

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills; internally with all SME’s, and externally to maintain strong relationships with strategic vendor(s). 

  • Minimum 7-years project management experience.  

  • Knowledge of Change and Release Management processes and procedures.   

  • Ability to facilitate workshops, identify opportunities, and make recommendations. 

  • Valid police check and working with children's check.
