Work directly with the Business Transformation Program Lead
This Local Government organisation are undertaking a number of initiatives under their Digital Transformation program, having a widespread impact on the Council’s work practices, particularly as it takes a more customer-centric approach in process improvement.
We are searching for an experienced Project Manager who has had in-depth exposure to major Transformation programs – in this role you will play a central role in integrating third party data to transform processes, working as part of a dynamic and agile team.
About the role:

Take a lead role in liaising with vendors to derive the most out of those relationship, demonstrating your maturity in dealing with matters of procurement.

Utilise Data to transform customer-centric initiatives – work with business analysts to map the customer journey and identify solutions to meet community and business demands.

Apply knowledge of process improvement and process automation to the program.

Work with the Business Transformation Program Lead to deliver on various tech initiatives that are transforming the Council.

Open channels of communication and engage with senior non-technical stakeholders within the organisation.

Apply principles of Change and Release management procedures. .

Be an integral part of the Transformation program.

Work with a team of PM’s and BA’s on supplementary activities around supporting the delivery of IT application projects.

Work in an Agile environment
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Exceptional vendor management capabilities.
-
Over 5 years demonstrated project team experience delivering complex solutions in an agile environment.

A proven track record in working on transformation projects with a high degree of complexity.

In-depth understanding of Data and integrating third-party data to drive business insights and outcomes.
-
Experience in Local Government is necessary.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

Valid police check is required.
