The Opportunity

Leading City based firm have a newly created role in their Business Advisory team. As part of a high performing team you will be encouraged to innovate and collaborate to help their clients manage their business needs in complex market environments. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, from medium-sized private groups to large listed and international corporations. Work with marketing, start up & unique clients with turnovers up to $150m & be the main point of contact for your portfolio.

If you are looking to progress to a senior accountant in the next 6-12 months then this is the role for you! You will be a key contributor to their fast growing business and will help to build their future as well as your own career.

They have a fun, vibrant and sociable culture and are looking for someone who is going to add to the close-knit team they already have in place.

Duties include –

  • Reviewing the work of 2 junior employees
  • Exposure to a variety of tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7
  • Working on large Corporates, SME's and large listed and international corporations
  • Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships & Individuals
  • Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statement

About You

  • Undergoing CA Qualification
  • 2 +  years’ experience within Business Services
  • Experience with MYOB AE & Xero  
  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting (minimum credit average)
