Intermediate or Senior Insolvency Accountant
 

• $60-80k package depending on experience
• Industry leading internal training and external ARITA training
• Get involved in special matter work

About the Company

This position is with a well-known and high performing, boutique firm in the Brisbane CBD. This firm have a national presence, an extremely well networked management team who pull in a lot of work and a fun and vibrant culture.

They are looking for an Insolvency Intermediate or Senior Accountant who can handle day to day questions from graduates and juniors while also working closely with the Director on some of the higher-profile work within the firm.

There is a clear path through to Supervisor and Manager grade for the right person, so if you’re career minded then this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role
 

• You will manage a team of 3 juniors who will be doing most of the ‘transactional’ work
• Work on a wide range of liquidations, administrations, DOCA’s and turnaround projects
• Manage workflow for the juniors
• Work directly with the partner on advisory projects such as workout and restructures
• Run client meetings and conduct face to face interview with company directors

Skills & Experience
 

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar corporate insolvency role
• Law degree is preferred, but a bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting or Economics will be accepted
• Exposure to unsecured insolvency work
• Excellent written and verbal communication is a must as you will be managing people
• A ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to learn
