  • Up to $70 p/h + Super (40hr a week)

NSW Government Agency is looking for a Project Manager to lead the team and manage the program, from the procurement and evaluation process to monitoring and reporting of program delivery and performance, for up to 73 contracts related to capital works across NSW.

The Role:  

  • Provide expert advice on the delivery of projects, and have oversight of schedules, budges, risks and governance
  • Lead and provide guidance on all aspects of the project management lifecycle
  • Develop and implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of Capital works projects
  • Provide leadership and direction to project team/s
  • Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management
  • Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans
  • Oversee project activities to ensure project delivery is in accordance with the agreed milestones, payment schedules and timeframes for completion

 About you:

  • Proven experience managing large maintenance / minor capital works projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong experience in the procurement and delivery of complex and high value contracts in the NSW Government
  • Full Australian driving licence
