Job description

 

The Role:

  • Support effective project management delivery of the next phase of the Opening Banking Project as it transitions to the Consumer Data Right (CDR) system
  • Supports effective project delivery by providing risk in change compliance advice as it relates to Open Banking and Consumer Data Right system
  • Embed effective compliance planning management including build of a system compliance plan, obligations, linkages to relevant compliance risks and supporting the business in the construct of a robust control environment
  • The role will work closely with Project, Product and Service and Compliance teams but operate within the Product and Service Compliance team to support broader compliance activities
  • Provides the 1st line of defence business with the tools and training to embed relevant compliance activities linked to project delivery
  • Supports product and account managers to deliver compliant outcomes in relation to product lifecycle management and client onboarding
  • Attend Industry forums and arrange workshops as required with stakeholders, sharing industry insights and trends
  • Ensures key relationships are managed and fostered including developing and maintain strong partnering relationships


The requirements:

  • 6+ years’ experience in Banking/ Financial Services industry ideally Big4 Banking experience
  • Project compliance risk management experience including supporting delivery and delivered risks through RCM build and maintenance
  • Experience with regulatory change across the banking and financial services industry
  • Compliance planning experience including obligation library construction, risk identification and control writing experience
  • Project & program management disciplines, assurance & Risk Management frameworks is highly desirable
  • Experience in translating legislative & compliance obligations into business ready compliance tools
  • Proven evidence of strong relationship management, presentation, negotiation skills and the ability to positively influence
