Job description

This leading energy company based in the heart of the Melbourne CBD currently has an opening for an experienced Business Analyst to work on a varied program of work focused on customer experience transformation. 

Located in the Retail sector of the organisation, the successful candidate will work very closely with the Project Manager to deliver on various project streams with a strong focus on customer experience.  The Business Analyst will also be required to support BAU activities, especially as these relate to the transition of new business initiatives into the existing framework. 


Key Skills / Responsibilities 

  • Assist SME’s and BAU resources to enable project delivery.  

  • Define business requirements and compilation of BRD or User Stories 

  • Engage with Business Stakeholders.  

  • Deliver project artefacts through the blueprint, build, test, and deploy phases of the project.  

  • Define project delivery plan and update business process designs.  

  • Deliver Development of a Change plan; inclusive of Change Impact Assessment.    

  • Build test cases, define test scenarios. design reports.  

  • Resolution and escalation of project issues, risks and decisions 

  • Assist Technical writers in the updates and development of new Standard Operating Procedures / Best Practice Processes 

 
Requirements 

  • Over 5 years demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex solutions in an agile environment. 

  • Minimum 2-year direct experience in Australian Energy Markets. 

  • Exposure to Transformation of the customer journey, benefit if you have had priod experience with contact centres.   

  • Relevant Business Analyst certifications/qualifications, Agile PM, or Lean Six Sigma certifications are desirable.   

  • Experience across Waterfall and Agile projects.   

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP environments.   

  • Detailed knowledge of process mapping and business process engineering, using tools such as Visio and ProMapp.  

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the planning, identification, documentation, review and analysis of business processes and business requirements on a qualitative and quantitative level.   

  • Fantastic interpersonal skills to be able to leverage relationships with stakeholders and effectively analyse existing business processes in order to map future workflows.   

  • Strong communicator, both oral and written, to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
