Job description
- Permanent full time position
- Assistant Accountant | 2+ years experience in a similar role
- CBD outskirts | mix of WFH & Office
- Experience in high volume reconciliations is essential for this role, you will be an Excel whizz and love working in a collaborative team.
I am pleased to be recruiting for one of my favourite clients, we are looking for a driven, enthusiastic assistant accountant to join their established finance team on a permanent full time basis.
You will be joining a passionate and collaborative team and all round a fantastic company.
My client is based just on the outskirts of the CBD (close to public transport), you will have working flexibility (mix of home and office based).
Salary: up to $70k+super (experience dependant).
Key duties (not limited to):
- Daily bank reconciliations
- including FX
- General Ledger responsibility - reconciliation & transaction management
- Monthly completion of BAS
- Month end inter-company reconciliations
- Month end journal posting
Essential experience required:
- High volume reconciliation
- BAS experience
- Month end process
- Intermediate / Advanced Excel
- Able to work to tight deadline
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication both written and verbally
- AU / NZ citizen or Permanent Resident
