Part-Time Accounts Payable Officer | South BrisbaneWe’re partnering with a well-established construction business based in Brisbane’s inner south to recruit a Part-Time Accounts Payable Officer. The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of accounts payable processes, ensuring supplier and subcontractor invoices are processed accurately and on time. You’ll play a key role in keeping the finance operations running smoothly in a fast-paced but friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of supplier and subcontractor invoices
- Managing subcontractor payment claims and ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met
- Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs
- Reconciling supplier and subcontractor statements and resolving discrepancies
- Responding to supplier and internal queries in a professional and timely manner
- Assisting with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience within construction or a project-based industry will be highly regarded
- Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Must have full working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship available)
- Part-time role (8 days per fortnight)
