We are currently partnering with a well-established, reputable healthcare organisation based in Brisbane to recruit a Payroll Officer to join their high-performing team.This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working within a supportive payroll function that services a multi-site healthcare group. - End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll across multiple sites
- Manage employee records, leave entitlements, terminations and superannuation
- Apply and interpret awards and enterprise agreements accurately
- Process PAYG, payroll tax, super contributions and EOFY reporting via STP
- Assist in the implementation of a new payroll system and process enhancements
- Provide clear, professional support to employees and third parties with payroll queries
- Support the Payroll Manager on projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven end-to-end payroll experience, ideally within a multi-site environment
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, tax, and super
- Previous experience with Kronos and/or MYOB highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and communication skills
- A proactive team player who enjoys solving problems and improving processes
- Experience within the healthcare sector is a plus (but not essential)
- You enjoy managing payroll from start to finish
- You’re confident interpreting awards and EAs
- You’re ready to contribute to new system implementations
