Job description
Payroll Officer | South Brisbane | $80-95k + SuperWe are partnering with a well-established civil construction business based in South Brisbane who are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their Head Office team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with end-to-end payroll experience who enjoys variety and wants to be part of a supportive and down-to-earth finance team.
The Role
- Managing fortnightly, end-to-end payroll for a blue-collar workforce
- Processing and uploading manual timesheets (strong Excel skills essential)
- Interpreting EBAs and ensuring compliance with relevant awards and legislation
- Assisting with HR and onboarding tasks
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc finance duties
- Supporting system implementation and process improvement projects
- Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience, ideally from within a blue collar industry (construction experience would be a distinct advantage)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of EBAs and payroll compliance
- Experience with payroll and time and attendance systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A team-focused attitude and willingness to help across finance and HR
- Salary of $80-95k + Super
- Full-time, onsite role based in Brisbane's southern suburbs
