- ASX Listed Technology – Multi award winning business
- $1000 p/d – Initial 10 month contract – high likelihood of extension
- North Ryde Location – Close to public transport / onsite parking
This globally successful technology / entertainment business has continued to grow from strength to strength. With a recent surge in business, the need for a highly experienced PMO manager with a consulting background is needed to join their stable and professional team. In this role you will play a pivotal part working on a global transformation program where you will primarily be working on the implementation of a Salesforce CRM. You will enjoy working in fast paced and complex businesses where you will also be exposed to some international travel.
Responsibilities will include:
- Formulate with stakeholders a viable program or project delivery plan per financial year, complete with milestones, financial budgets and resource requirements – as part of the yearly business plan
- Report to the Program Planning & Governance (PPG) forum on the progress / status of the program of work
- Prepare the program status and governance packs on a monthly basis for the PPG
- Deal with and advise on program / project problems, resource conflicts or other issues as they arise
- Ensure adequate toolsets and reporting toolsets for resource and environment planning
- Oversee the forecasting and analysis for resource and environment planning – work through and resolve any capacity conflicts, using organisational prioritisation where necessary
- Provide a suitable process to ensure up to date forecasts and planning which involves all stakeholders including line managers, project managers and the PPG
- Report any governance issues or concerns to project managers, sponsors and PPG
- Ensure projects are progressing and reporting in alignment with the agreed organisational governance standards, as specified in methodology
- Provide all program governance summary information within the monthly PPG packs
- Conduct regular stage gate and health checks against each project and report back to the project manager and sponsor on all findings
- Provide a suitable methodology and accompanying toolset to ensure efficient, and well governed project delivery
- An enquiring mind exploring and ensuring best practice is adopted wherever possible
- People leadership ensuring an engaged and motivated PMO team
- Staff development including setting goals and objectives, regular feedback, development plans and talent identification. Identify opportunities for team members who show the desire and capacity to progress their careers
- Ensure the PMO is managed to budget – salaries, entertainment, consulting, travel etc.
- Assign staff to appropriate projects considering the needs of the organisation and personals goals of individual staff members
- Centralised organisational external resource budget – to supplement extra resource needs across program of work
- Facilitate the management of all project budgets
To be successful for this position you will need:
- Minimum 5 years consulting experience
- CRM implementation experience working with Salesforce
- PMP qualified Ability to negotiate and present to senior organisational stakeholders
- Ability to travel internationally
