Job description
- Macquarie Park / WFH
- Initial 6 month contract (possible extension)
- $500 p/d +Super (40 hour week)
NSW Government Agency is looking for a Safety investigator to join their team of 12 in Macquarie Park. You will review ICAM (Incident Causation Analysis Methodology) investigations for trains, busses and ferries.
The Role:
- Review ICAM (Incident Causation Analysis Methodology) investigations, Audits , Regulator activity and liaison, Safety Reporting, Safety procedure development, incident management, On Call function, Safety Training
- Incident Management and Triage – Risk Rating incidents and hazards
- Develop Audit Corrective Action Plans, track action completion
- Develop safety reports for regulators, Transport executives and external committees as required
- Develop and review Safety Management System Procedures, tools and templates
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant OHS field and/or relevant industry experience.
- Ideally minimum 2-3+ years’ experience in an equivalent OHS role and with ICAM (Incident Causation Analysis Methodology) investigations
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Must be fully vaccinated to commence this position.
