Job description
The Opportunity:
Due to significant growth, this has created the opportunity for a Tax Manager to join one of Australia's leading taxation teams. Operating in over 10 locations in Australia, they are a national, award-winning mid-tier accounting firm based in the heart of the CBD.
Reporting to a Partner, you will have responsibility for managing assignments, assisting in the development of more junior members of the team and building lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- Providing high level of tax advice in all areas of taxation & provide services to local and international clients
- Undertaking tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislation
- Reviewing work including financial statements and tax obligations
- Drafting advice for clients in relation to various Australian taxation issues
- Efficiently lead client engagements and teams
- Involvement in business development activities

About you
- A relevant tertiary degree and professional qualification (CA and/or law)
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant local experience
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to undertake/document research
- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and with external clients
- Strong leadership capability
- Thorough knowledge of tax issues
