Analytics Lead / Data Scientist required for leading tech business based in Sydney CBD.
Ideal candidates would be mathematically gifted, business savvy individuals who are passionate about data and technology with some managerial experience...
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification (preferably post grad) in Mathematics / Physics / Computer Science / Statistics / or similar
- Intermediate to expert level knowledge / skills in languages / tools such as: Python / R / Scala / Haskell / Perl / C++ / SAS / Matlab etc... NB- Expectation is not that you are a master of all, but at least a few...
- Should have 8+ years' overall experience in data analysis focused roles, at least 3+ years' in a managerial / lead capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with, and manage high level stakeholders.
- Prior experience with machine learning model development
- Ability to define, implement and manage analytics best practice within a particular discipline
