Job description
An industrial company located Lower North Shore is seeking a first time mover from Big 4 or Mid Tier firm to join the company as an Assistant Accountant.
This is a permanent full-time position | $65k+ super.
Overview of duties:
- Daily & monthly bank reconciliations;
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting
- Assist with maintenance of the general ledger
- Analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Assist with the annual budgeting & ongoing forecasting process;
- Assist with preparation of BAS, FBT & payroll tax returns;
About You:
- 2+ years experience working as an accountant
- Experience with daily high-volume transactions
- High attention to detail
- First class communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Working towards CPA/ CA
