Inner East Melbourne Location, near a train station. You will initially be working from home.
A fantastic opportunity to work with a leading and inclusive NFP organisation has implemented a number of initiatives that are having a major impact on people’s lives across Victoria. Subsequently, these initiatives are having a major impact on people, process and technology internal to the business.
Reporting directly to the COO, the Business Analyst will be responsible for an end-to-end operational analysis to assess the impact of a systems change and future requirements to meet the needs of a restructure.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility for the end-to-end documentation ahead of a major operational restructure that will have an impact on people, process and technology.

This can be broken down into:
-
Assess the risks to the organisation of implementing systems changes.
-
Documentation of the impact of these systems changes to meet the needs of an upcoming operational restructure.

Develop a systems change project plan.
-
Develop testing plans to ensure that systems changes perform as specified and expected.
-
Support the implementation of this project plan to meet the requirements of the pending restructure
-
Document AS-IS and TO-BE with the goal of process improvement.

Diligent tracking of actions and dependencies, with quantified impacts (cost, schedule, scope) if not met.

Tracking of key milestones/deliverables against the project plan.
To be successful for this position you will need to display:
-
Minimum 5-years' experience as a Business Analyst.

You have worked either independently or in small project teams focused on end-to-end delivery as a business analyst.

You have ideally worked at a small-to-medium community-focused organisation (e.g. a NFP or local government organisation).

Able to document and elicit requirements across an organisation.
-
Technical capabilities around Systems change implementations.
-
Capable to document the Testing approach, create test cases and manage User Acceptance Testing.

Fantastic stakeholder engagement skills to liaise with systems experts and other SME’s from various departments around the business.

Comfortable running stakeholder meetings with 10+ participants.
-
Ideally, you have worked on process improvement projects in the past, focused on operational transformations and restructures.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills
-
Experience with NDIS is an advantage, but not essential.
-
You have a formal Business Analysis qualification (e.g. BABOK) and good understanding of project management methodologies.

Background checks will include a Police Check and Working with Childrens Check
