Business Services Supervisor / Junior Manager

Charterhouse are partnering with a Top 50 firm in North Sydney to secure them a Supervisor/Junior Manager for their Business Services team. They are in the unique situation where clients are waiting to com on board, but before that they need the infrastructure in place to offer the highest possible service. So, from your first day in the office you will be managing your own client base and on boarding new clients at the same time. Due to this situation there is a direct path through to Manager grade over the next 12 months for a top performer.

You will be working directly in a team of 8 and supporting a couple of graduate/junior accountants at any one time, while the wider business has 100 staff members.
This firm are well known for providing excellent advice to a very loyal client base and promoting their people as their number 1 asset.
 
Duties

Your main responsibilities will involve but not be limited to:

• Tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals
• IAS and BAS
• Financial Statement Preparation
• Tax Planning
• Supervising and mentoring of junior accountants  

 
Skills and Experience

• CA or CPA Qualified
• 6-8 years’ experience working for an accounting firm in Tax or Business Services
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• A positive attitude and an eye for detail

Regular external training is provided and would will also be supported through any further qualifications you would like to go for, such as CTA.
