Job description

  • Join this notable local government organisation based in Melbourne's inner city suburbs
  • Support an Executive Director
  • Short term contract role - 3-4 weeks

This Local Government are looking for the support of a highly capable and proactive EA to assist for a 3-4 week period with possibility to extend. This is a pivotal and prestigious role is to start as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities;

  • Extensive diary and email management 
  • Organising meetings and attending these 
  • Events and meeting co-ordination 
  • Occasional minute taking, agendas and document preparation for meetings
  • Draft responses to correspondence/emails for the Director


To be successful in this role, you must have;

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar high level administration support role to multiple senior executives within an organisation
  • Experience within a multifaceted organisation is highly desirable 
  • Expertise at providing diary management and minute taking to an executive team
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, in particular accurate spelling and grammar
  • The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
