About the company
My client is a global financial services organisation (specialises in trading) and is based in Sydney CBD. Over the past 2 years they have invested heavily within their technology team. Now due to a global restructure they are looking for an ambitious Head of Software Development that wants to step up into a CTO position over the next 12 months.
About the role
You will be responsible for managing a team of 20 (Developers, BA, PM, Tester) in Sydney and offshore, develop and deliver a technical strategy and direction for the business, lead and manage the software development team to deliver software and architecture, ensure the delivery of the projects within an agile environment, keep up to date with the latest technical trends and promote L&D within your team.
About you
In order to be successful in your application for this position you will need to have the following experience:
- Extensive people management experience
- Project delivery experience
- Previously a .NET Developer (Essential)
- Up to date with the latest .NET Development and JavaScript trends
- Trading experience (Essential)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication skills
What's in it for you?
This role will give you the opportunity to progress into a CTO role whilst working for a global financial services organisation. Salary is between $170,000-$180,000 + Super.
