Job description
This recognisable national business is at the fore of the next phase of its Digital Transformation programme which will see it undertake a number of technical initiatives requiring an experienced IT Infrastructure Transition Manager. Our client is looking to continuously evolve to ensure its IT Infrastructure is future-ready in what is a multi-year programme.
Key Skills / Responsibilities:

Manage the transition from one managed service provider to another; involving an internal and external transition.

Oversee a database transition.

Direct involvement in transitioning from on-premises infrastructure to a cloud-hosted environment.

Transitioning service contracts to a new provider within budget and to timeline and without unanticipated business impact.

Minimising risk in commercial transition.

Schedule resource requirements, both internal and external, for the transition.

Engage with senior stakeholders for regular progress reports.

Oversee end-of-life activities for decommissioning services.
Requirements:
-
Experience in similar large-scale transition projects.

Direct experience transitioning vendors.

Demonstrated experience managing concurrent multi-faceted projects and infrastructure demands.

Familiar with cloud products on the market and what is required in transitioning to a cloud-based environment.

Supreme communication skills to liaise with senior internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders.

Strong commercial acumen; background in similar commercial projects is a must.

Experience leading and managing teams is a must.

ITIL Qualification is required.
