Job description
One of the best and biggest tech businesses in Australia are looking to bring on a new tech lead for their Site Reliability Engineering team. Working with a wide variety of product and engineering teams, you'll bring your deep experience with either Java or C#, distributed architecture - SQS, Rabbit MQ or Kafka, and expert knowledge of SRE to take up the lead role from your current position as a lead or senior SRE in a similar business. My client is unparalleled in terms of brand, culture, growth opportunities and location, so if you have a passion for high level systems, market leading product, this is an ideal role.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading a small team of strong Site Reliability Engineers
- Ensuring all systems are running at a high level with minimal downtime
- Some coding in Java or C#
- Running the SRE operations for the platform
Skills you'll need:
- Deep and considerable knowledge and experience of Site Reliability Engineering
- Experience with C# or Java
- Prior experience in a product based company
- Distributed systems and/or Microservices
- Kafak, Rabbit MQ or SQS
