Supervisor – Business Services

The Opportunity 

This prestigious growing accounting firm based in Sutherland Shire offer traditional accounting, taxation and compliance services in addition to advisory and outsourced CFO offerings. The firm pride themselves on being recognised for their dynamic team and a range of services they offer which break the mould of being a traditional accounting firm. 
You will be a key contributor to their fast growing business and will help to build their future as well as your own career. Reporting directly to the Partners, you will have responsibility for managing assignments, assisting in the development of more junior members of the team and building lasting client relationships.

About the Role  

  • Manage your own client portfolio and develop relationships with clients
  • Assisting with client advisory under the guidance of Partner 
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvements to processes adopted by the firm
  • Train/ mentor and review the work of 3 junior staff members
  • Attend client meetings with Partners and contribute where necessary
  • Conduct tax related research
  • Manage workflow, budgets and deadline management across the year

About You

  • CA/CPA Qualification  4 + years post-university experience in Chartered Accounting Firm 
  • Experience reviewing the work of juniors
  • Xero experience 
  • Strong soft skills and technical knowledge of CGT and Div7a issues 
  • A long-term view with a committed attitude to a career in practice is essential
