About the Company

This Higher Education Sector is currently looking for a Communication and Training Coordinator who will support the Change Manager in the implementation of communications and training strategies driven from the companies Transformation Program. This role will require working closely with IT and the Transformation Program, project teams and key stakeholders across the business. The objective is to develop engaging communications & training material; developing change communication artefacts; delivering training & briefing sessions; and, working with stakeholders to prepare them for adoption of new behaviours and technology that supports change adoption across the organisation.

About the Role

  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plan that supports successful change adoption.
  • Design and deliver change communications and artefacts, such as Quick Reference Guides, User Manuals, Training packs, FAQs, Troubleshooting guides, presentation packs, information packs, instructional guides & videos etc.
  • Facilitate and deliver training & briefing sessions to impacted user groups.
  • Manage and update project information pages on the company’s website / intranet for internal and external users.
  • Develop and execute user pulse surveys and training attestations & feedback surveys.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Create engaging presentation / information packs for internal and external audiences.
  • Reports overall training trends and ensures improvement opportunities are identified and actioned based on feedback
  • Develop and deploy communications plan to ensure messages are received through appropriate channels to inform, educate, and enable user groups.
  • Own and manage change management support shared mailbox.
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Skills Required

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with communications & training responsibilities for a med-large sized transformation projects portfolio.
  • Knowledge of and experience in working with technology, i.e., SharePoint, Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic working style whether working individually or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure work environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with users having limited IT knowledge.
  • Skills and experience in Adobe Creative Suite.
