  • $51.84- $56.76 per hour + Super
  • Sydney Olympic Park + WFH (potentially 1 day per week after training has been completed)
  • Immediate start – 4 days per week – 7 hrs per day
  • Initial contract through to 27/09/24 with possible extension

Our client is seeking a Customer Engagement Officer who is responsible for delivering positive customer outcomes through supporting the organisation and stakeholders. The perfect opportunity to get your foot in the door or further your NSW government experience. The in-depth training will without a doubt further your skillset.

Your core duties will include:

  • Delivering timely, quality, and professional responses to enquiries and feedback.
  • Supporting internal stakeholders and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate complex enquiries and complaints while maintaining a professional manner.
  • Dealing with communication channels including, but not limited to, email, web form, phone, social media DM’s and in person to acknowledge, resolve and record customer complaints and escalate any unresolved issues.
  • A range of administrative duties such as maintaining records of customer feedback and complaints and generating reports as required.
  • Undertake community engagement activities to gain customer insights which inform evidence-based decision making within the department and other relevant stakeholders.

Skills and experience:

  • Strong customer service and administrative experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • Previous government experience is beneficial but not compulsory.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to pick up new systems with ease, previous experience with Salesforce desired.
  • Solve problems whilst following a clear set of guidelines and rules.
  • Comply with privacy requirements and manage confidentiality.
  • Display resilience and remain calm when dealing with challenging situations.
