An amazing 3-week opportunity to be a part of a large, diverse and growing Local Council Customer Service team in the Inner-City suburbs!
Are you a customer service professional with a drive to effectively accomplish your duties and responsibilities in a timely manner?
You will be joining a large council located in the inner-city suburbs. They are devoted to providing high level of customer service to members of the community and ensuring that all their requirements and needs are met. There is ongoing support available to ensure you are provided with the necessary tools to excel at this role.
You will be responsible for:
- Promoting and maintaining high-quality customer service in all communications with customers on the phone
- Taking time to learn the Council’s operations and staying informed with any applied changes
- Working collaboratively as a team to reach goals and deadlines
- Providing professional, accurate and timely information to members of the public over the phone
- Articulating and providing solutions to enquiries raised by customers
To be successful you will have:
- Customer service experience, either face to face or over the phone
- Local government experience is ideal
- Great communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to promptly problem solve and handle complaints
- Demonstrated experience within a Call Centre environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive attitude to work and learning new systems
