Job description
Our government client is seeking a document control officer to assist and support the first stage of a major project in the Burwood office.ROLE:
- Provide advice, support and assistance to the project team in the storage and management of all project documentation
- Assist in the use of the corporate and the project electronic document management systems, including seeking and incorporating specialist advice to ensure high quality development of documentation
- Assist with the development of knowledge management systems, model documentation and templates to promote best practice and continuous improvement in contract and project management
- Receive, record, distribute and file all documentation, principally incoming and outgoing contractual documents such as services briefs, drawings reports, schedules, registers, specifications, transmittals, presentations and their associated forms of transmission
- Ensure consistency and compliance with corporate document and records management requirements;
- Maintain quality control of the recording of all reviews and iterations of all technical documents. Ensuring project parties are working from the correct revision.
- Coordinate with and support the project team for timely, effectively, document management.
- Liaise with the document controllers of other project entities, particularly the administrator of the any electronic document management system.
- Manage access and use of the project's electronic document management system.
- Other support services from time to time, as required and as agreed with the employee
- Team binder experience would be an advantage
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge and experience with Design Change Process’
- Knowledge and experience with Certification and recertification of design packages
- Proven experience with Spreadsheet management
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
