Position Overview:

As the Personal Assistant to our CIO, you will be an indispensable partner in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. You will provide high-level administrative support to the CIO, enabling them to focus on strategic initiatives, project management, and leadership tasks. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can handle a wide range of tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CIO's calendar, appointments, and meetings, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and organise documents, reports, and presentations for the CIO.
  • Act as a liaison between the CIO and other departments, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Handle travel arrangements, expenses, and logistics for the CIO and their team.
  • Prioritise and manage incoming emails, messages, and phone calls.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Assist in organising and coordinating departmental events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role, supporting C-level executives.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and calendar management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle conflicting priorities with ease.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a technology preferably.
  • Experience within large complex organisations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
