Job description
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
- Leading Financial Services Business
- 7-months contract – possible extension
- Immediate start
- $400 + super daily rate
Financial services business is currently searching for a Financial Accountant to join the team. In this role, you will be working closely with the Senior Financial Reporting Manager as well as with a number of their clients. This will be a great opportunity to get the brand in your CV and expand your network in the financial services industry. You will be expected to provide technical input and operational support on accounting and day-to-day responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Review of Financial Reporting products
- Lead the month-end process for their Shared services and property companies
- Ensuring that all deliverables are met to agreed timetables.
- Communicating with clients in relation to their queries.
- Driving improvements and efficiencies
- Build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Providing technical input and operation support on accounting
- Leading and managing new projects
Key criteria:
- CPA or CA qualified.
- 4 years’ experience in financial accounting/reporting
- Strong excel skills.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including high emotional intelligence to partner effectively with stakeholders
- Strong team player who emphasizes on good cultural fit.
