Job description
Finance Officer (financial accountant)
- NSW State Government
- $303.97 - $332.84 per day + Super
- 6 months contract with extension
- Parramatta SQ | WFH 2x days
About the Role
- Provide financial reporting and transactional support
- Journal processing, month-end and year-end processing and reconciliation, internal control and compliance check
- Finance documentation, following up on outstanding items and escalating complex issues
- undertake and complete financial reporting requirements
- Answer queries from stakeholders, liaise with auditors and handle audit queries,
- Liaise with external service providers like custodians, participate in finance projects and other ad hoc tasks
Experienced and skills needed in
- Strong accounting knowledge and practical accounting experiences
- Good SAP and Excel skills
- Good communication and time management skills
- solid knowledge with month-end and accounting reconciliation
