- CPA/CA qualified | business partnering & ability to work with large data sets is essential
My client is a reputable and leading business based in the Sydney CBD. They require a Finance Analyst (2 years + in a similar role) to join their finance team on a full time permanent basis.
Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be business partnering with various stakeholders across the business - interpretation of data, analysis, giving commentary and insights.
The Finance Analyst is responsible for ensuring complete and accurate reporting of the financial results for the ANZ business through month and quarter end closing process, as well as various key projects.
Key duties (not limited to):
- Complete all month end processes including reporting, manual journals and account reconciliations
- Yearly planning and forecasting
- Help to drive performance and maximise revenue
- Have a solid knowledge of Excel and can work with complex models and drive insights from data
- Drive efficiencies across accounting and reporting processes
- Assist leaders on executing ad hoc projects and external data requests
Key requirements:
- Strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills
- CPA/CA qualified
- Relevant working experience in an analytical role
- Experience working with large data sets
- Strong technical accounting background
- Manages and prioritises multiple tasks simultaneously in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, environment
