My client is an established reputable business covering Australia wide locations. They are in need of an experienced Payroll & Accounting Professional to join their finance team.
You will be responsible for the weekly payroll (end to end, 2-3 days) and also full function Accounts Payable duties as well as adhoc accounting duties.

The team you will be joining is established, you will have the opportunity to develop & grow you skills as well as bringing some value add to the role.

Location: Botany / Surrounding Suburbs
Working arrangements: Full time office based
REM: circa up to $100,000 plus super

Key duties include;

  • full function Payroll processing <300 employees
  • prepare & lodge payroll tax, super, leave etc 
  • interpretation of awards (3)
  • end of month & end of year payroll reporting
  • payroll audit
  • end to end accounts payable
    • setting up suppliers
    • invoice approvals
    • payment runs
    • reconciliation
  • General admin and adhoc accounting duties

Essential Experience;

  • full function payroll processing & reporting
  • end to end AP experience
  • MYOB, XERO or similar system experience
  • Award Interpretation (multiple awards)
  • able to work full time office based
  • excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
