Job description

  • Product Manager – responsible for delivering new products and current products / services
  • Financial Services experience – ideally cards, payments
  • Newly Created Permanent Opportunity - $145k + Super + up to 20% Bonus  
  • Immediate start – Sydney

 

Newly created opportunity due to growth for a Fintech organisation who have doubled in size and are experiencing significant growth. In this customer facing role you will be responsible for bringing new payments / cards products & services to market and for the successful delivery of multiple projects within the Product Portfolio. In particular, the role has responsibility for the delivery of new products/services and current product/service enhancements.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Product Delivery – defining steps for delivery of products / services
  • Assist the CPO with identification and implementation of new products
  • Reporting to the CPO, the status of delivery, implementation and changes
  • Clear reporting of delivery progress and any issues or blockers
  • Lead engagement with solution partners to ensure understanding and interpretation of changes associated with compliance
  • Project Management in line with the required framework resources
  • Continuous Improvement practices such as post implantation reviews to challenge and improve current project practices
  • Contribute to maintaining effective relationships with Strategic Partners


To be successful for this position you will need to display the following requirements:

  • 4+ years Product or Project Management experience within the financial services industry – Payments / Cards is highly regarded
  • Experience managing mid-to large-sized IT and business change projects as well as managing small change initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in the working with governance and execution frameworks including policies, procedures, and methodologies
  • Ability to transfer problem statements to IT and Business requirements and then conduct a gap analysis demonstrating the as-is and to-be solution
  • Analysis of business processes, facilitating agreement on requirements for application change initiatives that meet the organisation's objectives
  • Interest in working in a broad, fast paced role with some additional responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and proven quality stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interact with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts
