Job description

My client is a well-known FMCG organization based in Sydney's Western Suburbs who is seeking an experienced Credit Administrator to join their team. 

 
About the Role: 

A permanent full time opportunity has opened with one of our fantastic clients based in the Western suburbs.  

 FMCG industry experience is essential due to the nature of my client’s business. 

 
Reporting to the National Credit Manager your duties will entail: 

  •  Pre legal collections activity  
  • Mercantile agent activity  

  • Litigated debt recoveries 

  • Personal Property Security Registrations  

  • New account Credit Assessment procedures 

  • On-boarding of new Web Portal customers  

  • Presentation of Documentary Credit export documentation  

  • Ensuring the integrity of data and compliance to relevant legislation relating to the storing and maintenance of personal and credit profile information of customers held within the Customer Master database  

  • Provide credit control and collections support to the national team when required 

 

About You: 
 

  • Passionate about credit
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills 

  • Knowledge of legal processes in litigated matters 

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills 

  • Ability to prioritize, multi task and meet deadlines 

  • Highly developed eye for detail 

  • Accuracy in data entry  

  • Proactive rather than reactive with tasks  

  • Excellent collections and negotiations skills 

  • Committed customer service skills 

  • Strong knowledge of Credit Assessment procedures
