  • Immediate start – 30th July with high chance of extension
  • Paying up to $180k package + benefits
  • Inner East Melbourne Location, near a train station. You will initially be working from home


About the Company:

A fantastic opportunity to work with a leading and inclusive NFP organisation who has implemented a number of initiatives that are having a major impact on the community across Victoria. Subsequently, there are exciting and new technological projects currently underway requiring experienced Data Specialists.

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the ICT Manager, the Data Architect will be responsible for mapping information flows across the business, developing ICT data and integration architectures that support the implementation of the Digital Technology strategy.

  • Conducting high level research, horizon scanning and analysis to identify further ICT trends, and assess applicability to support business objectives
  • Translate business practices into architectures to enable delivery of solutions
  • Develop programs to maintain and govern the Data & Integration Architecture across the business
  • Explain and advocate technology strategy, architectural policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
  • Map information flows to provide business outcomes for application and data usage across Service Delivery and CRM’s
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement that supports the organisational culture and change program
  • Provide team leadership that supports a people management culture, human rights and builds employee resilience and inclusion

Your experience: 

  • Minimum 5 years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations.
  • Proven work experience as a Data Architect/Engineer or similar role
  • Leadership experience across large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of all components of holistic Data & Integration architecture, business re-engineering principles and processes
  • Understanding business outcomes for application and data usage, across multiple Service Delivery and CRM’s
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Information Security qualification would be viewed favourably
  • Background checks will include a Police Check and Working with Childrens Check
