About the Company:

This is a multinational construction company who work on high profile infrastructure and development projects. The company specialise on delivering projects across a wide range of sectors, all over the world and to the highest standards possible. This is a 2 month contract, working in a busy site office with a diverse team.

About the Role:

The role will maintain a central project document control system, covering project team, client, vendor and third-party documentation.
Reporting directly to the Project Director, working within a team/office of 10.

Prior experience in a document controller role with a solid understanding of Aconex. Industry experience in an engineering / construction environment would be highly desirable

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Intermediate or above skills in Microsoft Office (preferably Word 2016, Excel 2016
  • Aconex system experience
  • PowerPoint 2016 , Outlook 2016 and above
  • Proficiency in editing PDFs in Adobe Acrobat, PDFX-Change Editor or similar
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Capable of working well both independently and in teams
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and juggle competing demands
  • Willingness to learn 
  • Patience and ability to repeat instructions in multiple ways until understood
  • Information Manager requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as Document Controller or Records Manager
  • Demonstrated experience writing and developing procedures
  • Experience in integration of QA process into document management
  • Experience of successful project set-up
