About the Company
My client, a growing Not-for-Profit organisation based in Melbourne, providing recovery orientated NDIS services, requires a Finance / Payroll Officer to be responsible for day to day financial functions . They are a diverse, ethical and friendly team who are looking for someone like-minded, with a keen interest in helping people, therefore aligning with their overall goals & values which are to help the community.
About the Role (not limited to)
- End-to-End Payroll management including Salary Packaging
- Maintaining budgets
- Invoicing and reconciliations
- Prepare, reconcile and process FBT, STP, BAS and other statutory obligations
- Assist Senior leadership team with internal monthly and quarterly reporting
- Other admin/support tasks
- Occasional communication with service users
You will need/have experience with:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role to include all of the above duties - (within the NDIS/disability sector will be advantageous but not essential)
- Effective, clear and confident verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in particular around reports
- Strong ability to prioritise and work to timelines
- Excellent technical skills, using various applications, including intermediate Excel
- Flexible attitude to tasks/duties
- Right to work in Australia
- Police Check
- Not listed on the Disability Worker Exclusion list
