About the Company

My client, a growing Not-for-Profit organisation based in Melbourne, providing recovery orientated NDIS services, requires a Finance / Payroll Officer to be responsible for day to day financial functions . They are a diverse, ethical and friendly team who are looking for someone like-minded, with a keen interest in helping people, therefore aligning with their overall goals & values which are to help the community.  

About the Role (not limited to)

  • End-to-End Payroll management including Salary Packaging 
  • Maintaining budgets
  • Invoicing and reconciliations 
  • Prepare, reconcile and process FBT, STP, BAS and other statutory obligations
  • Assist Senior leadership team with internal monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Other admin/support tasks 
  • Occasional communication with service users

You will need/have experience with:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role to include all of the above duties - (within the NDIS/disability sector will be advantageous but not essential)
  • Effective, clear and confident verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in particular around reports
  • Strong ability to prioritise and work to timelines
  • Excellent technical skills, using various applications, including intermediate Excel 
  • Flexible attitude to tasks/duties 
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Police Check 
  • Not listed on the Disability Worker Exclusion list
