Based in the Northern suburbs, this busy local government are on the search for a highly motivated and versatile HR Business Partner to join their busy team over the Christmas period and into January. Reporting to the HR Manager, the primary focus of the role will be to help the business in dealing with Employee relations and generalist HR queries by liaising with management, employees and also supporting the overall HR team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Advise and coach managers and employees on general HR matters particularly with regard to employment related activities
  • Assist in Performance Management and performance review discussions as well as case management
  • Provide HR reports to various stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Assist with ongoing HR projects along with the wider team

To be successful in this role:

  • You will have the relevant Tertiary qualifications in HR or proven HR generalist experience
  • At least 5 years HR generalist experience as well as strong ER background
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards work
