Head of IT Service Delivery

Job description

• Head of Service Delivery opportunity to support a GM Technology
• Financial services organisation embarking on Open Banking, Digitisation of the Bank and a number of other significant transformation initiatives  
• Strong Infrastructure background required – Virtualisation and TCP Network experience

You will be responsible for leading a small team that designs and manages business facing systems and data management. This role is responsible for the effective management of the performance of each team member and requires a strong leader who can get the best out of and has proven experience upskilling a team.

 Responsibilities will include: 

• Managing the day-to-day IT operations, including leading the Helpdesk team
• Ensuring IT meets or exceeds its obligations as per deliverables including SLA’s and KPI’s
• Actively identifying, raising, and managing risks as they arise, ensuring timely patching of exposures to vulnerabilities and threats
• Being a conduit between the various lines of business, Projects, and IT
• Analysing, delivering, and presentation of Service Delivery reports and the provision of advisory services in relation to improving service and operational performance
• Working with changing regulatory requirements (APRA)
• Working across strategic initiatives including Open Banking and Digitisation

To be successful for this position you will need: 

• Experienced Service Delivery & Infrastructure Management experience
• Proven leadership skills and examples of upskilling
• Financial Services experience
• Strong virtual infrastructure and software knowledge
• Experienced with change and transformation
• A ‘can do’ attitude where no job is too big or too small and the desire to make a difference within an organsiation that is going through significant growth and transformation
