Job description
We have an amazing opportunity to gain Government experience on a temporary basis for an experienced administrator to work within the Government sector in Maitland NSW. This is initially a three month contract with a possibility to extend.Please only apply for this contract if you are immediately available as this position starts ASAP.
Duties within the role will include
- Perform a variety of administrative functions.
- Schedule appointments, give information to callers, and take dictation.
- Compose memos, transcribe notes, research and create presentations.
- Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepare and monitor invoices and expense reports.
- May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ability to handle a busy and varied workload.
- Excellent customer service skills / good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks.
- Ability to work well under general supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
