Job description

We have an amazing opportunity to gain Government experience on a temporary basis for an experienced administrator to work within the Government sector in Maitland NSW. This is initially a three month contract with a possibility to extend.

​Duties within the role will include
  • Perform a variety of administrative functions.
  • Schedule appointments, give information to callers, and take dictation.
  • Compose memos, transcribe notes, research and create presentations.
  • Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepare and monitor invoices and expense reports.
  • May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Essential Criteria: 
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to handle a busy and varied workload.
  • Excellent customer service skills / good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to work well under general supervision.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
