Job description

The purpose of this role is to assist with the administrative functions, roles and duties to enable the Technical Assessments Unit, the Manager and staff to function effectively and efficiently.  

Assist with the administrative duties including:
  • Manage the data entry for the departments database, issuing accounts for statements, reminder letters and allocating follow up inspections.
  • Assist with the administrative procedures for the processing of applications  
  • Assist with the administrative functions of notifications, registration and booking of inspections, processing of completed applications and tracking of referrals forwarded to the Unit for consideration.
  • Monitor workload statistics and assist with the preparation of monthly workload spreadsheets..  

Selection Criteria
  • Prior experience within the Government Sector  
  • Cert IV in Business Administration/Finance or equivalent
  • Drivers’ licence
  • Demonstrated high Customer service skills
  • Excellent Communication skills in written and oral format
  • Knowledge and experience in Finance Systems
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
