Administration Coordinator - NSW Government - Contract

  • Immediate start - Initial contract through to 30th June 2024 
  • $45ph + super
  • Sydney Olympic Park location/Hybrid (3 days per week required on site)
  • Administration experience essential
  • Full time, Monday to Friday
This large Government organisation within the emergency services sector is seeking an administration professional for a temporary contract. With the immediate start and initial length of the contract we require experienced candidates with strong initiative who are ready to hit the ground running. You will be working within a small team offering a friendly and supportive working environment and hybrid working flexibility.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Document management
  • Coordinating meetings including booking meeting rooms and taking minutes
  • Responding to enquiries over the phone and email from both internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing correspondence 
  • Maintaining records and databases
  • Other general administrative duties to support the overall team
Skills/experience:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, highly organised
  • Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Content Management experience would be highly beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self-driven, adaptable, resilient and be able to use initiative to make sound decisions
  • Government experience is beneficial but not essential
