Job description

My client is a well established NSW Government Department who is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic team on a 6 month contract with the possibility of it being extended.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Lead and manage financial management including forecasting, variance analysis and year end reporting
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparation of monthly management reports
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Variance analysis and expense analysis
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships, provide advice and information on emerging issues
  • Coordinate and manage all activities associated with the finance and operations functions to include budget development and monitoring, preparing relevant internal/external reports
Key Requirements:
  • Degree qualified
  • Previous Finance Management experience is essential
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous NSW Government experience is desirable
