Job description
My client is a well established NSW Government Department who is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic team on a 6 month contract with the possibility of it being extended.Your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage financial management including forecasting, variance analysis and year end reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Preparation of monthly management reports
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Variance analysis and expense analysis
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships, provide advice and information on emerging issues
- Coordinate and manage all activities associated with the finance and operations functions to include budget development and monitoring, preparing relevant internal/external reports
- Degree qualified
- Previous Finance Management experience is essential
- CA/CPA qualified
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous NSW Government experience is desirable
