  • Full-time, permanent position | Flexible hybrid working option| Generally 3 days in the office & 2 from home
  • Provide a high level of operational service, support and advice to internal stakeholders

About the company

A community driven organisation in the southeast of Melbourne is looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to join their people and culture team. You will be joining a team of HR, Talent, Health & Safety and Governance experts who are successful through collaboration.

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday – Friday. The organisation offers flexible work options and generally come into the office 2-3 days per week.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Provide high-quality support & advice on a wide range of common HR matters, including guidance and coaching for employees and leaders on workplace relations matters
  • Support the People Services Manager with research and preparation for EA negotiations
  • Coach and support leaders to address performance and conduct issues
  • Lead Annual Remuneration Reviews, Annual performance appraisals, Industrial Agreement (EA) and Award wage increases
  • Coordinate and action activities across the employment life cycle
  • Development of position descriptions and grading activities
  • Support with end-to-end recruitment
  • Adhoc administrative and HR project work as required

You will have the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or post graduate qualifications in Human Resources or related field
  • Previous experience in the HR space, with a particular focus on IR/ER
  • Sound knowledge and experience with navigating through employment law, Industrial relations / Fair Work practices, including award / interpretation
  • Proven experience working in accordance with an EA and ability to provide advice
  • Experience supporting the organization through an EA negotiation with reports and research
  • Customer service driven and a drive to be part of a collaborative team
