Are you looking to take the next step in your accounting career with a firm that truly invests in your development? We’re partnering with a well-established 3-partner firm in the Melbourne CBD who are seeking a Junior to Intermediate Accountant to join their growing team.

The Opportunity This role will see you working closely with a supportive team across compliance and advisory work. You’ll gain exposure to more complex clients and be encouraged to develop both technically and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Assisting with BAS and IAS preparation.
  • Supporting bookkeeping functions in Xero, MYOB, and Reckon (transaction coding, reconciliations).
  • Maintaining accurate client records and documentation.
  • Participating in structured training and professional development sessions.
About the Firm:

This is a collaborative, mid-sized practice (around 15 staff) currently in an exciting growth phase. With a strong focus on quality over quantity, the client base consists of larger, more complex groups with higher turnovers – giving you exposure to challenging and rewarding work from early on.

About You:
  • 1–3 years’ experience in business services & tax within public practice.
  • Working towards or keen to commence CPA/CA studies.
