Job description

  • Provide administrative support to the Organisational Development Officer
  • Assist with rolling out various training and learning courses in their new LMS
  • The role can be full time or part time arrangements over 3 days per week and can be mostly working from home and you will need your own equipment

About the company

You will be working for a Local Government authority based in the south-eastern suburbs. The council put emphasis on inclusivity and development. They are a forward-thinking council who really invest in their staff. This role can be full-time or part-time hours spread across 3 days a week. The position can be mostly working from home. You will need to have a working from home set up. The contract is initially for 3 months but could be extended further.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Support and administrator a contemporary Learning Management System (LMS) that delivers an effective and engaging learning experience.
  • Support the organistaional development team to deliver a Learning and Development strategy that supports an agile remote and local workforce.
  • Provide excellent customer service to managers and employees using the LMS
  • Support managers to create successful careers pathways for our staff creating skills and development opportunities essential to achieving their goals.

You will have the following:

  • Previous experience working with an online Learning Management System (LMS) is a must and experience working with ELMO LMS will be advantageous
  • Strong administration background, ideally in a HR / learning & development background
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and experience partnering with stakeholders to support learning initiatives
  • A certificate in Human Resources, Training / Learning will be beneficial
  • A passion and interest in delivering innovative learning solutions that focus on building capability of employees
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
