Part Time Receptionist 

Location: Canberra CBD
Salary: $50,000 package per annum (pro-rata)
Start Date: ASAP
Position: Part-Time

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the office environment, providing exceptional support to both staff and clients.

Our client is a prominent Australian financial services firm with a rich history spanning over 30 years. They offer a comprehensive range of services, including financial planning, investment advice, stockbroking, and estate planning. With a commitment to integrity and long-term client relationships, they provide tailored solutions to meet the evolving needs of their diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area and office space.
  • Receive, unpack, and distribute office deliveries across various levels.
  • Ensure the kitchen, stationery, and storage areas are organised and well-maintained.
  • Prepare meeting rooms to meet organisers' requirements, including room setup and rearrangement.
  • Liaise with meeting organisers and catering providers to plan and execute events.
  • Order and manage catering for internal events, seminars, and social gatherings.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Monitor and respond to emails in the shared Outlook mailbox.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for new and exiting employees.
  • Sort and distribute daily mail to recipients.
About you:
  • Previous experience in an office coordination or administrative role is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Immaculate presentation and professional demeanour.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to tasks.
  • A 'can-do' attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
