About the company

We are currently supporting a Local Government authority based in South East Melbourne with their search for a temporary Payroll Officer that will support within the People and Culture team.

Role summary

Coming in to support through a transitional period, you will need previous experience working within a Payroll setting and will be confident with the full function, end to end processing of payroll on a fortnightly basis.

About the role

  • End to end, full function Payroll on a fortnightly basis (starters/leavers ect)
  • PAYG
  • Reconciliations (monthly and annually)
  • Statutory entitlements (superannuation/accrual transfers ect)
  • Novated lease agreements
  • Provide advice for guidance on payroll policy and payroll enquiries
  • HRIS system admin
  • Other relevant duties

Skills & experience

  • Must have at least 3 years Payroll experience
  • At least 1 years experience using within a HR platform
  • Strong understanding of Victoria payroll legislation
