Job description

A Prominent NSW Government Department based in the CBD is seeking a Program Coordinator to support a program’s various Training related project streams. This is a temporary 6-month opportunity with high potential for extension.

Duties

  • Assist the Training Unit Team to achieve project deadlines and goals
  • Maintaining awareness of project deliverables and timeframes
  • Provide administration and financial administration support according to the needs of the training program
  • Updating website with Training course details along with promoting courses
  • Training venue organisation
  • Booking travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Co-ordination of project meetings, briefings, minutes and associated documentation
  • Coordinating schedules, resources, meetings, conferences and workshops for the project team
  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, and being the main point of contact
  • Administering and maintaining the projects governance and reporting requirements
  • Administration and Management of project documentation, electronic and paper based
  • Collation and co-ordination of project reports and documentation
  • Provision of project administrative support
  • Other administrative and co-ordination duties as required  

Selection Criteria

  • Experience in a Program or Project Coordination and/or Support role
  • A Training or Learning & Development Background
  • Good verbal communication skills and good written communication
  • Willing to take on adhoc tasks as they are required
  • Attention to detail
  • MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint at an intermediate level
  • Ability to manage several tasks concurrently
  • Ability to make sound judgement calls
  • Ability to organise and coordinate tasks and people
